Monthly Boarding Rates - Please contact Ron or Brenda for rates.

Weekend Stall Rental ($10/horse/night, not including feed) - Please book prior to event.  Individuals are asked to clean their stalls out at the end of events into the alleyway.

Weekly Arena Schedule

The Arena opens for events at 7pm each evening (except Thursdays). Riding time prior to 7pm is for boarding horses and those individuals who pay for additional riding time.

Thu -     Riding Roundup (5pm - 7pm) - Youth riding lessons

Association Memberships or Permits must be purchased and received by rider BEFORE coming to the jackpot.

No Payout to Peewees (year end prizes only).
Deductions off Entries:  $5 Admin/Assoc Fee + $5 Arena Fee

Extra Horse Fee:  $5/horse not entered

If you bring a horse to ride or work on barrels that is NOT entered, there is a $5 arena fee.

 

DETAILS & INFO:

2 jackpots - 1st jackpot is ABRA (PW,Y,O); 2nd Jackpot is SBRA (PW,Y,O)

ABRA & SBRA jackpots will run separately.  Riders will get 2 runs per jackpot (fastest run will be used for payout).

Both Open jackpots will run a 3D with a 7/10ths split.  Youth and PeeWees will run a 3D with a 1 second split.

Valid Membership / Permit Required - Individuals must hold a valid membership or permit for the respective association jackpot. 

Both memberships and permits must be purchased and membership cards received by the SBRA/ABRA offices prior to coming to the jackpot.

Dual Memberships/Permits - Those who have both memberships (and/or permits) may enter both jackpots or may opt for a carryover to the SBRA jackpot (you'll pay both entry fees, but can carry your time to the SBRA jackpot - to minimize the # of runs on your horse).

Carryovers must be declared at the time of entry.

Individuals are not required to take a carryover.  They can enter both jackpots and run in each.

SERIES POINTS for PRIZES:

Attendance Requirement - Individuals must attend 4 jackpots to qualify for high point prizes.  Attendance will be calculated based on the rider/horse combo.

HOW POINTS WILL BE AWARDED - Points will accumulate based on all running times for the day (including both jackpots).  The fastest time run by each horse/rider combo will be the time used for awarding points.

The points will run 4pts through 1pt in each division.  There will be 3D's with a 7/10th's split.

HIGH POINT Open Saddle - Points will accumulate based on each horse & rider combination regardless of which division or jackpot the points are received.  Saddle will go to the Open rider who has accumulated the most points on a specific horse.

Division Prizes - Points will accumulated by division for each horse/rider combo.  Points received outside a division will be accumulated separately.

Travelling west from The Battlefords

 - Take Hwy #16 West towards Lloyd approx 5km
 - Turn West off hwy at Sunshine Road sign (red house along highway)
 - Take Sunshine Road until first crossroads, turn right to find entrance.

Travelling east from Lloydminster

 - Travel almost to Battleford until you see large billboard signs.
 - Sunshine Road is next road off hwy (red house on opposite side).
 - Turn West off hwy onto Sunshine Road.
 - Travel down Sunshine Road to first crossroads, turn right for entrance.
