Boonlit is a proven performer in the barrel and team roping arenas with lifetime earnings in excess of $30,000. With limited hauling he was ranked Top 12 in Canada during his barrel futurity year.
In 2016, Boonlit’s oldest foals were 4 year olds. Every Boonlit 4 year old either won or placed in their respective incentive or event in that year. Boonlit babies are proving to be trainable, quick footed, easy turners with the ability to drop their hind end and drive through their turns.
Boonlit stamps his babies with short backs, big hips and a single definitive swirl between their eyes. He crosses well with running and cowbred horses, with both crosses placing in the barrel arenas in their first year of competition.
Sired by Boonlight Dancer (LTE: $135+K, OFE: $1.5+M) a son of the great Peptoboosmal and a Smart Little Lena daughter. In 2011, Boonlight Dancer won the National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Championship and has gone on to sire some top performing offspring.
Dam is a daughter of Gallo Del Cielo (OFE: $5.9+M), a direct son of the prolific Peppy San Badger and a Doc Bar daughter. Offspring are known for their level heads and attractive conformation.
